William Abranowicz is represented by Art and Commerce in New York City.

Currently on the masthead of both Condé Nast Traveler and House & Garden, Abranowicz’ work has been featured in Vogue, The New York Times Magazine, Martha Stewart Living, and Le Monde d’Hermes. His advertising campaigns include Avon, Banana Republic, Eileen Fisher, Pottery Barn, Ralph Lauren, The Gap, Tommy Hilfiger, Giorgio Armani, Target, IBM, and Discover Card.

William Abranowicz' work is included in public, corporate and private collections throughout the world including the National Collection of the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C., The Getty Museum, in Los Angeles, The Menil Collection Library in Houston, TX, the Bibliothèque Nationale in Paris, the International Center of Photography in New York, the Thessaloniki Museum of Photography and the Goulandris Museum in Greece.

Abranowicz is the author of THE GREEK FILE Images of a Mythic Land, a tribute to the landscapes of Greece, published by Rizzoli.

A graduate of The School of Visual Arts in New York, he assisted Horst P. Horst and George Tice. As a freelance photographic printer, Abranowicz printed for the Estate of Edward Steichen, Horst, George Hoyningen-Huene and Michael Disfarmer.

Abranowicz lives in Bedford, New York with his family, where he serves as a volunteer firefighter and is an active member of Riverkeeper, a group dedicated to cleaning up the Hudson River.
